We are a non-denominational church with people from all backgrounds (no church affiliation, Catholic, Baptist, Pentecostal, etc.). Whether you’ve attended church for years or this is your first time, you’ll feel welcome here.
OUR STORY
Dr. Gene Herndon started a Bible Study in late 2008 with five people in the “upper room” of his Arrowhead Ranch home. He started having services on Wednesday nights where he cooked dinner for the attendees. Everyone would gather and break bread together and receive the Word of God preached by Dr. Gene. His home Bible Study grew to over 30 people in a few months. In January of 2009, Stonepoint had its first service in a hotel ballroom and ultimately settled into a strip mall in Peoria, AZ.
Pastor G, as he is affectionately called, founded and, along with his wife Shana, pastors one of the fastest-growing churches in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area.
